All users of South Dakota K-12 Data Center services must comply with U.S. copyright law.
As stated in the South Dakota K-12 Data Center Policy Manual:
K-12 hosted websites may not contain illegal content. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of any content in violation of copyright laws.
Participating school districts are informed of our copyright policy annually.
In response to a notice of claimed infringement, the South Dakota K-12 Data Center will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material. Any notices received outside of normal business hours will be handled on the next business day.
In accordance with the DMCA, the South Dakota K-12 Data Center has designated an agent to receive notification of alleged copyright infringement.
